Eric Taylor Inshore Fishing Team I’m Captain Eric Taylor and I am a true native of Merritt Island, Florida. Located on the Space Coast, Merritt Island borders the famous Mosquito Lagoon, Indian and Banana Rivers. I have been a full-time United States Coast Guard licensed and insured Captain for the past four years. In between charters I have been a professional angler on the Mercury/Ranger Redfish Tour.
Growing up on Merritt Island has given me the opportunity to explore every body of water whether it be inland or off the beach. The inland shallow bodies of water hold a wide variety of fish including Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle and Ladyfish.
